The Faculty of Law is one of the faculties within the scope of Trisakti University. Its existence coincided with the establishment of the University by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on November 29, 1965, by Dr. Syarif Thayeb as Minister of Higher Education and Science Number: 013/dar.Tahun 1965 juncto Number: 014/dar.Tahun 1965. The name “Trisakti” is a gift from Dr. Ir. Soekarno, the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, which means:

1. Sovereignty in the political field;
2. Independent in the field of economics; and
3. Personality in the field of culture.

The Faculty of Law, Trisakti University, as the provider of Higher Education for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Study Programs, has a vision: To become a reliable, international standard Faculty of Law while still paying attention to local values ​​in developing legal knowledge to improve the quality of life and civilization.

To achieve its vision, mission, and goals, the Bachelor of Law Study Program, Faculty of Law, Trisakti University has:

1. Morning Regular Class (S1) with 7 (seven) Specialty Programs which include: business law, family law, agrarian law, criminal law, public international law, procedural law, government law and legislation.
2. Afternoon Regular Class (S1) for employees with a concentration in business law.
3. Master of Law Study Program (S2) with a concentration in business law, agrarian law and criminal law.
4. Doctoral Study Program in Law (S3)

In order to prepare graduates of the Faculty of Law who are interested in becoming advocates, the Faculty of Law in collaboration with Peradi also regularly organizes Special Education for the Advocate Profession (PKPA) which is open to the public.

In order to complete the implementation of quality education, the Faculty of Law has implemented a curriculum that refers to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and the Outcome Based Education (OBE)-based Curriculum of the Bachelor of Law Study Program and its learning system, which is supported by various facilities, infrastructure and facilities. education that always follows the development of science, technology and art.
