With the enactment of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Regulation No. 3 of 2023 concerning the Issuance of Electronic Documents in Land Registration Activities, land certificates are transitioning from analog to electronic format (E-Certificates). The introduction of electronic land certificates is a significant step towards modernizing Indonesia’s land administration system. This webinar will explore how the implementation of electronic land certificates can enhance transparency, reduce disputes, and expedite land administration processes. Additionally, the challenges, including technical, regulatory, and field issues, will also be discussed.
