Undergraduate Law Program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti Holds Workshop on Case-Based Learning and Project-Based Learning Methods

The Undergraduate Law Program, as a recipient of the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek), held a workshop on the topic “Case-Based Learning and Project-Based Learning Methods” from August 5-6, 2024, at the Prof. E. Suherman Auditorium, Building H, Universitas Trisakti.

The workshop was attended by lecturers from FH Usakti who were preparing for the new academic year 2024/2025. The workshop, moderated by Dr. Ayu Nrangwesti, S.H., M.H., a lecturer at FH Usakti, featured speakers such as Gatot Fatwanto Hertono, PhD, representing the Higher Education Curriculum Team of Kemdikbudristek, and Dr. Radian Salman, S.H., LLM, a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University.

The event began with a welcome speech by Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum., the Dean of FH Usakti, who stated that the workshop aimed not only to evaluate the progress achieved by the university, particularly FH Usakti, in delivering educational processes but also to enhance the curriculum quality at FH Usakti. This was followed by presentations from the speakers.

In the interactive final session of the workshop, participants asked questions and discussed learning methods and issues related to the Key Performance Indicators of Higher Education. It is noteworthy that the implementation of Permendikbudristek No. 53 of 2023 on Higher Education Quality Assurance opens the door for the application of Case-Based Learning and Project-Based Learning methods in campus teaching. This allows for the incorporation of these learning methods into the Semester Learning Plan for courses at FH Usakti.
