On February 5, 2024, Dian Purnamasari, a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, earned a Doctorate degree from the Doctoral Program in Law at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

Dian Purnamasari, who is also the Secretary of the Business Law Section, successfully defended her dissertation titled “A Legal Study on the Impact of Foreign Investment on National Interests in Indonesia’s Banking Sector.”

The VIVA (Doctoral Promotion) examination was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ruzian Markom and attended by Dr. Haniwarda Yaakob, with internal examiner Dr. Mohd Shahril Nizam Md Radzi, and external examiner Prof. Huala Adolf, SH, LLM, PhD from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Padjajaran, as well as supervisor Prof. Dr. Hasani Mohd Ali.

Dian Purnamasari’s success adds to the number of lecturers with doctoral degrees at the Faculty of Law, Trisakti University. It is hoped that this achievement will contribute to the advancement of Universitas Trisakti, particularly in the development of business law scholarship.
