Outstanding Students at Jakarta Model United Nations (JMUN) 2025

From August 8–10, 2025, seven students of TLMC, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, participated as delegates in the Jakarta Model United Nations (JMUN) 2025—a UN simulation that brings together delegates from various countries to discuss and formulate policies on global issues.

The Trisakti delegation consisted of:

  • Charissa Ananda Citradi
  • Kayla Felicya Chen
  • Sulthan Daffa Nugraha
  • Chris Sky Koh
  • RB. Aryo Putu Pinandito
  • Eunike Audrey Saragih
  • Natasya Engelika Tjoe

They were assigned to four councils with the following key themes:

  • UN WOMEN: Addressing the Commercialization of Pornography and Its Impact on the Rights and Safety of Women (Charissa and Eunike)
  • UNDP: Sustainable Growth: Ensuring a Just Transition to Renewable Economies (Kayla and Natasya)
  • F1 – Formula One Management (FOM): Beyond the Cockpit: The Question of Granting More Decision-Making Power to Drivers (Sulthan)
  • UNODC: Fighting Fake Medicines: Tackling the Global Proliferation of Counterfeit Medicine and Its Impact on Global Health (Chris and Aryo)

A remarkable achievement was earned by Kayla Felicya Chen, who won two awards in the UNDP Council: Best Position Paper and Verbal Commendation Award, in recognition of her outstanding contributions, arguments, and the exceptional quality of her working paper, as assessed by the adjudicators.

This participation was not only an opportunity to hone skills in diplomacy, research, and public speaking, but also a tangible contribution from the younger generation in seeking solutions to global challenges.
