On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the Law Laboratory (Lab. Hukum) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti (FH Usakti) held an investment contract training event at the Prof. E. Suherman Auditorium, Building H, 2nd floor. This event was the second series of training initiated by the Lab. Hukum FH Usakti. The first series had previously focused on the drafting of investment contracts with an emphasis on international civil law aspects.

The event began with a report from the Head of Lab. Hukum FH Usakti, Dr. Rosdiana Saleh, S.H., M.H., who stated that the training was attended by more than 100 participants, the majority of whom were FH Usakti students. This was followed by a speech from the Dean of FH Usakti, Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum., who expressed hope that this training would enhance students’ soft skills, especially in practical application, beyond merely understanding the theories learned in class. This would help students meet industry needs upon graduation.

The speakers for this investment contract training included:

• Ady Putra, S.H., LL.M., Vice President Legal Contracting and Legal Counsel at Pertamina;
• Dr. Feri Wirsamulia, S.H., M.Comm.Law, Managing Partner at Wirsamulia and Ramon Law Firm;
• Dianyndra K. Hardy, S.H., M.Kn., Lecturer at FH Usakti.

The session was moderated by Sharda Abrianti, S.H., M.H., a Permanent Lecturer at FH Usakti.

The experienced practitioners provided material in accordance with their respective fields and expertise, including examples of draft contracts. The participants were enthusiastic in asking several questions related to the creation of investment contracts.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates and plaques by the Dean of FH Usakti and the Head of Lab. Hukum to the speakers and moderator. It is hoped that this training will be beneficial for the participants, particularly in honing their skills in drafting investment contracts.
