Kayla Felicya Chen (010002300079) and Charissa Ananda Citradi (010002300209) represented the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti (FH USAKTI) at the Jogja International Model United Nations (JOINMUN) hosted by Gadjah Mada University. The event took place at the Sheraton Mustika Hotel in Yogyakarta from September 26-29, 2024. The competition featured students from various universities across Indonesia, as well as high school students, vying for titles such as Best Position Paper, Best Delegates, Most Outstanding, Honorable Mention, and Verbal Commendation.

The councils in JOINMUN included the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Women, Asian Development Bank (ADB), and a special Crisis committee.

Both FH USAKTI students participated in the ILO council, with Kayla Felicya Chen representing Singapore and Charissa Ananda Citradi representing Nepal. In the final results, Kayla Felicya Chen (010002300079) received the Best Position Paper award with the topic, “Confronting the Challenge of Brain Drain: Preserving Human Capital in an Age of Worldwide Mobility.”
