On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the inauguration of the Negotiation and Mediation Room took place on the 8th floor of Building H, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti (FH Usakti). The room was a donation from alumnus Sahala MPH Siahaan, S.H., who is also the Chairman of the Alumni Association (IKA) FH Usakti.

The Negotiation and Mediation Room, which is used to hone students’ skills in the non-litigation field, was inaugurated by the Dean of FH Usakti, Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum, and witnessed by the FH Usakti leadership team, alumni, and students.

In her speech, the Dean of FH Usakti expressed that alumni contributions are greatly needed for the advancement of FH Usakti, and she highly appreciates the ongoing collaboration with alumni. The Chairman of IKA FH Usakti, Sahala MPH Siahaan, S.H., in his speech, expressed his hope that the Negotiation and Mediation Room, designed like a law firm office, would provide students with real work experience, preparing them to become job-ready graduates.

The inauguration of the Negotiation and Mediation Room adds to the list of legal laboratory rooms at FH Usakti, alongside the Moot Court Room. It is hoped that this new facility will be well-utilized by the students.
