Still in the spirit of celebrating Eid al-Fitr 1445 H, the Faculty of Law (FH), Universitas Trisakti held the Halal Bihalal 1 Shawwal 1445 H event for the academic community of FH Usakti titled “Reflection on the Sanctity of Eid al-Fitr in a Synergistic Bond of Brotherhood”. This event was held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM until finished in the Auditorium Prof. E Suherman, 2nd Floor of Building H. The event was attended by the Dean, Head and Secretary of the FH Usakti Senate, Heads and Secretaries of Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs of FH Usakti, Permanent Lecturers of FH Usakti, Educational Staff of FH Usakti, Head of FH Usakti Alumni Association, Head of FH Usakti Student Executive Board (BEM), Head of FH Usakti Parliament, Head of FH Usakti Simulated Court OTF (Trial Advocacy) Division, and Head of FH Usakti Islamic Spiritual Guidance (SKI) Division, as well as Lecturers and Educational Staff.

The event began with remarks by the Dean of FH Usakti, Dr. Dra. Hj. Siti Nurbaiti, SH., M.Hum., followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran (Surah Al-Insyirah) by Qari Brother Ahmad Saefudin, S. Komp., and a spiritual song performed by Kitri Safariningsih, S. Hum. Following that, the event continued with a sermon and spiritual cleansing delivered by Ustadz. H. Dedi Martoni, M.Si. In his sermon, Ustadz. H. Dedi Martoni, M.Si. encouraged everyone to remain steadfast in worship as they did during the month of Ramadan and not to stop after celebrating Eid al-Fitr. Likewise, he emphasized the importance of forgiving each other and starting anew with positive things. The event then concluded with a prayer led by Dr. Yogo Pamungkas, SH., MH.

In addition to the halal bi halal event, the activities also included the giving of mementos to retired Educational Staff and appreciation to the FH Usakti Simulated Court delegation who participated in the competition at Stetson University College of Law. The entire event was concluded with handshakes, group photos, and a shared lunch.

Through the organization of this Halal Bihalal event, it is hoped that it can strengthen the bond of brotherhood among the academic community of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti.
