Jakarta, 9 September 2025 — The Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti (FH Usakti), held a workshop on preparing for international accreditation from the Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN) on 9–11 September 2025 at Aston Kartika Grogol, West Jakarta. The event also involved the Faculty of Economics and Business as well as the Faculty of Art and Design of Universitas Trisakti.
After successfully attaining Southeast Asian-level international accreditation through AUN-QA in 2021, FH Usakti is now aiming for global recognition through ACQUIN—an international accreditation agency listed in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) and recognized by the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI). This effort covers three study programs: Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs in Law.
The workshop began with remarks from the Dean of FH Usakti, Prof. Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum., and was officially opened by the Vice Rector I of Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng. University leaders underscored the importance of the accreditation team’s full commitment to achieving optimal results.
Speakers from the University of Bengkulu—who have previously obtained ACQUIN accreditation—shared their experiences and strategies. The sessions covered topics including an introduction to ACQUIN, curriculum and handbook development, and strategies for preparing the Self-Evaluation Report (SER) documents.
The event was conducted interactively through discussions, Q&A sessions, and group assignments designed to deepen participants’ understanding of the accreditation process.
Through this workshop, FH Usakti hopes to take confident steps toward achieving ACQUIN international accreditation, as part of its vision to become a leading law faculty with international standards while remaining grounded in local values in the development of legal studies.
