In celebration of Universitas Trisakti’s 59th anniversary, the Faculty of Law organized a series of academic events involving the entire academic community. On November 13, 2024, the Trisakti Law Student Scientific Writing Dissemination #3 (DIKTUM #3) was held, featuring a national seminar and call for paper presentations. The event took place in a hybrid format at the Prof. E. Suherman Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Building H, Faculty of Law, and via Zoom, running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This year’s seminar addressed the theme, “Indonesia’s Role in International Diplomacy: Efforts to Seek Solutions to the Israel-Palestine Conflict.” The seminar’s audience included Faculty of Law students and staff, as well as members of the public. Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum., Dean of the Faculty of Law, officially opened the event with welcoming remarks.
The seminar featured guest speakers including Akhmad Masbukhin, M.S.I. from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shofwan Al Banna Choiruzzad, B.Soc.Sc., M.A., Ph.D., lecturer in International Relations at the University of Indonesia, and Bhatara Ibnu Reza, S.H., M.Si., LL.M., Ph.D., lecturer at Trisakti’s Faculty of Law. The discussion was moderated by Adifyan Rahmat Asga, S.H., LL.M., also a lecturer at Trisakti’s Faculty of Law.
Following the seminar, 14 student teams participated in the call for paper presentations on the theme, “Achieving Justice in the Era of Transnational Law.” Each team presented their articles, which covered various legal specializations, and engaged in a Q&A session with participants and judges. The day concluded with the announcement of the best articles.
The annual Trisakti Law Student Scientific Writing Dissemination is a Faculty of Law tradition aimed at fostering a scholarly environment among students. Through this event, students are encouraged to refine their ability to communicate academic ideas effectively, both orally and in writing, supporting their academic achievements and professional growth.
