The Chief of the Surabaya Metropolitan Police (Kapolrestabes Surabaya), East Java Regional Police, Commissioner of Police (Kombes Pol.) Dr. Luthfie Sulistiawan, S.I.K., M.H., M.Si., successfully earned his Doctorate in Legal Studies with the distinction of Cum Laude from the Doctoral Program in Legal Studies, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. His dissertation is titled “Reconstruction of Small-Scale Gold Mining Legalization Policy (PESK) in West Kalimantan.”

The Doctoral Promotion Examination was chaired by Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum., the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Trisakti University, with the examination committee comprising Prof. Dr. Eriyantouw Wahid, S.H., M.H., as Promoter; Dr. Hermansyah, S.H., M.Hum., as Co-Promoter; Prof. Dr. Bintan R. Saragih, S.H.; Prof. Dr. Aloysius Uwiyono, S.H., M.H.; Dr. Endang Pandamdari, S.H., C.N., M.H.; and Dr. Rosdiana Saleh, S.H., M.H.

Although invitations were extended to Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, S.H., and several other officials, they were unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts. The event was attended by approximately 100 guests, including:
