The Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) of DKI Jakarta Province held a public information transparency seminar in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti (FH Usakti). The seminar took place on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the E. Suherman Auditorium, Building H, Trisakti University.

The seminar, which carried the theme “Public Information Access in Enhancing Public Participation,” was attended by FH Usakti students and the general public. The speakers for the seminar, moderated by M. Imam Nasef, S.H., M.H., a lecturer at FH Usakti, included Agus Wijayanto N., M.H., Commissioner of the Information Commission of DKI Jakarta Province, Dr. Wiratno, S.H., M.H., FH Usakti lecturer, and Mimah Susanti, M.Sos., member of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) Central.

The event began with an opening speech by Heru Budi Hartono, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Province, followed by speeches from Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum, Dean of FH Usakti, Harry Ara Hutabarat, S.H., M.H., Chair of the Information Commission of DKI Jakarta Province, and Sigit Wijatmoko, A.P., M.Si., Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Communication and Information Office.

The seminar continued with presentations from the speakers. Throughout the event, interactive games with prizes were conducted for participants. In the final interactive session, participants raised questions and engaged in discussions about digital technology and public information transparency.

It is hoped that this seminar will benefit participants by providing a deeper understanding of the importance of public information transparency.
