On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, a delegation from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University (CMU) visited the Faculty of Law (FH) Universitas Trisakti (Usakti). The meeting took place in the Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Building H, FH Usakti. The delegation, led by the Head of the School of Politics and Government, Asst. Prof. Dr. Malinee Khumsupa, was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FH Usakti, Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum., accompanied by the FH Usakti leadership team.

The meeting began with a welcome speech from the Dean of FH Usakti, who expressed hope that the collaboration between the two institutions would be well-implemented and concrete. The Head of the School of Politics and Government at CMU also conveyed that she and her team aim to establish collaborations with universities in several countries, including FH Usakti in Indonesia.

During the meeting, both parties discussed potential areas of collaboration, including joint teaching, research exchange, student exchange, and international seminars/conferences. More specifically, collaboration could also be established between Study Programs and Research Centers, particularly between the Center for Constitutional Law Studies and the Center for Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Studies at FH Usakti, and the School of Politics and Government and the School of International Affairs at CMU.

This meeting will be followed up with plans to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between FH Usakti and CMU. It is hoped that this collaboration will expand FH Usakti’s international partnerships, aligning with its vision to become an internationally recognized institution, particularly in terms of partnerships.
