Research Summary:

Inspired by the results of the 33rd International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in December 2019, this research aims to find and discover how humanitarian law is implemented at the national level in Indonesia.

The research focuses on primary legal materials and secondary data, especially national regulations related to armed conflicts. The researchers conducted two main classifications of the implementation, seen from the perspective of legislation and court decisions. Data collection was carried out by searching legal documents on official websites such as JDHI, the Constitutional Court, and Legal Online.

The research aims to obtain a database of national regulations related to humanitarian law, enabling the determination of actions to be taken by the Indonesian Government, stakeholders, civil society organizations, and the general public to preserve national resilience and peace.

The intersections found in the research open opportunities for further studies in various fields of knowledge, which researchers hope to conduct in the future through cooperation at both national and international levels.

This research has resulted in scientific articles published in the Book Chapter of the 6th International CEO Social Sciences Congress held on 16th-18th June 2023. Additionally, the research team members have obtained Copyright Certificates for the presentations they delivered.
