History

The Center for Intellectual Property Rights Studies, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti (PSHKI) was formed when the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of  Law and Human Rights (DJKI) appointed the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti to organize the ninth class of Intellectual Property Consultant Education in 2015. This event was the extra-ordinary achievement that have been made by PSHKI. As a result, there were graduates of Intellectual Property Consultant Education consisting of approximately 80 participants.

Furthermore, in accordance with the aim of establishing PSHKI in developing the Intellectual Property at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, PSHKI carries out various activities including outreach, registration and litigation in the field of Intellectual Property.

Performance

PSHKI carries out various activities within the scope of  Higher Education in the form of education and teaching, research and community service. Some of the activities that PSHKI has implemented are as follows:

1. In collaboration with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property, holding the 9th Class of Intellectual Property Rights Consultant Education and Appointment.
2. Intellectual Property Rights Training for students and the general public. In 2023, the training will enter its 8th batch and 88 participants will participate in the training.
3. Forming and collaborating with the Trisakti Alumni Association of Consultants and Intellectual Property Rights Observers (HIKAT)
4. IP series 1-10. PSHKI collaborates with HIKAT to socialize HKI online.
5. Holding a scientific writing competition on Intellectual Property for students and the general public.
6. Talk Shows
7. Publishing Reference Books
8. Together with HIKAT, we held “HIKAT IP STUDENT’S RESEARCH” for students who are completing their thesis on Intellectual Property.
9. Copyright Registration Training.
10. Receive consultation and brand registration.
11. Holding Seminars / Webinars

Structure

The Center for Intellectual Property Rights Studies (PSHKI) of the Faculty of Law, Trisakti University, was formed based on the Decree of the Chancellor of Trisakti University Number 909/USAKTI/SKR/XI/2021 dated November 9 2021.
