By praising our gratitude for the Almighty God, we welcomed you to the website of the Faculty of Law Universitas Trisakti.

The Faculty of Law is one of the founding faculties of the Universitas Trisakti. The University was established by the Indonesian government on 29 November 1965 under the period of Minister Dr. Syarif Thayeb, through his decision No. 013/dar. Year 1965 juncto the Decision No. 014/dar. Tahun 1965. The name “Trisakti” was given by Ir. Soekarno – Indonesia’s first President – because the term symbolizes Indonesia’s concept of development that prioritizes:

1. Sovereignty in the political sphere;
2. Economically independent from foreign influences; and
3. Culturally distinguished.

The Faculty of Law Universitas Trisakti Undergraduate and Post-Graduate program had the vision to create an intellectual hub in the field of law that can contribute to the development of global legal discourses without abandoning Indonesia’s local legal knowledge.

In order to achieve such visions, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti has:

1. Full-Time Undergraduate Program (Bachelor of Law) with 7 (seven) specialized fields of study, which include: business law; family law; agrarian law; criminal law; international law; procedural law; and public law.
2. Part-Time Undergraduate Program (Bachelor of Law) in business law.
3. Master of Law Program with specialization in business law, agrarian law, and criminal law.
4. Doctor of Law Program.

Also, to prepare our graduates and the public who has a keen interest to practice law as an advocate, the Faculty of Law Universitas Trisakti regularly collaborates with Indonesian Advocate Association (Peradi) to organize Special Training for Advocate Profession (PKPA).

To fulfill our mission of providing high-quality education for our students, the Faculty of Law Universitas Trisakti also designing its undergraduate degree curriculum according to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and the Outcome Based Education (OBE) system along with infrastructure and facilities that can help the Faculty to always keep up with the development of science, technology, and art.

In addition, efforts are always made to improve the quality of teaching staff, by implementing cooperation with various research and education institutions at both the national and international levels.
