Abcandra Muhammad Akbar Supratman, an alumnus of the Faculty of Law Universitas Trisakti (Class of 2018), has been elected as a Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) representing the Regional Representative Council (DPD) for the 2024-2029 term. Abcandra is the youngest Deputy Speaker of the MPR for this term.

The election for the MPR Deputy Speaker from the DPD took place in the Nusantara V building of the parliament complex in Senayan, Jakarta, beginning on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. In the election, Abcandra received a total of 93 votes.

The entire academic community at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, congratulates Abcandra and wishes him success in fulfilling his duties for the benefit of society.
