History

The Center for Agrarian Law Studies, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti (hereinafter referred to as PSHA) has informally existed since 1987, founded by Prof. Boedi Harsono, SH (Father of National Agrarian Law). From that time until now, the Faculty of Law at Universitas Trisakti has become an “icon” in the field of Agrarian Law, especially land affairs, for private and state universities in Indonesia. At its inception, PSHA through Prof. Boedi Harsono, SH, is a partner of the Government and the People’s Representative Council, in determining policies in the agrarian sector, especially land. In addition, together with the private sector the Center also helps the Government in providing policy explanations in the land sector.

Performance

In its development, PSHA’s activities covered determining and developing Agrarian Law group courses at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, convene the meetings of Agrarian Law Lecturers throughout Indonesia, conducting studies or research, discussions and seminars, and also publishing books written by its members. After the death of Prof. Boedi Harsono (died 18 October 2011), the leadership passed to Prof. Arie Sukanti Hutagalung, SH, MLI. Under his leadership, PSHA continued to carry out activities as above, until finally Prof. Arie Sukanti Hutagalung also passed away, on May 7 2021. Currently, PSHA is chaired by Dr. Irene Eka Sihombing, SH, CN, MH.

Based on the Decree of the Rector of Trisakti University Number 050/USAKTI/SKR/II/2024 dated February 1 2024, the Membership Composition of the Center for Transportation and Telecommunications Law Studies, Faculty of Law,  Universitas Trisakti has been determined with the following  composition:
